The 2022 USA Climbing Transformation Grant Application is now open. USA Climbing Transformation Grants are made to Programs that endeavor to make the transformative power of climbing accessible and inclusive in the United States in furtherance of the mission of USA Climbing, such as through:

• Programs to increase access, diversity, and inclusiveness in sport climbing, and/or
• Programs to educate athletes, coaches, parents/guardians, routesetters and others, such as for:
  • positive coaching methods and training techniques,
  • physical and mental health and safety, and
  • competition rules

“We are excited to work with the USA Climbing Foundation on this grant program that will increase accessibility to our sport.” said Marc Norman, CEO of USA Climbing. “This new grant allows programs within the climbing community that are already doing great work to continue to support their athletes as well as provide new opportunities.”

Applications can be submitted by any current USA Climbing member (whether an individual member or Gym member). Each application should seek a minimum of $5,000 and a maximum of $20,000. More information and access to the Grant Application can be found here.
