At its core, the Youth Festival is about growth. Athletes have the opportunity to continue learning, build confidence, and develop as climbers, teammates, and individuals.
The Youth Festival is not a summer camp or a traditional training camp. It is a unique experience where high level coaches from across the country come together to mentor, collaborate, and help shape the next generation of climbers. The Youth Festival is not performance based. It is designed for athletes who are excited to improve, try new things, and be part of a positive and supportive environment.
The event features a mix of fun, skills based training sessions along with presentations and workshops for both athletes and parents. These are led by experienced coaches, top climbers, and industry professionals, creating a well rounded and engaging experience.
Registration during Phase 1 will be for U11 (born in 2016), U13, and U15 athletes who qualify for and compete at either of the Boulder or Lead/TR Regional Championships. Registration during Phase 2 will be for any U11 (born in 2016), U13, and U15 athletes in the Regional ranking. U15 athletes who are participating in Youth Nationals are also eligible to take part in the Festival.
The coach application for the Youth Festival is now open.
The Youth Festival is not a traditional camp. It is a collaborative experience where coaches from across the country come together to mentor athletes, share ideas, and learn from one another. The focus is on growth, connection, and creating a positive environment for athletes to develop both on and off the wall. Coaches play a key role in shaping that experience.
