Back to News This week, seven athletes will represent the USA in sport climbing at the Olympic Qualifier Series (OQS). The two-part festival-style series starts in Shanghai, May 16-19, followed by Budapest, June 20-23, and offers one more chance for athletes to qualify for the Olympic Games Paris 2024. The series will award quotas to the top 10 Boulder & Lead athletes per gender and the top 5 Speed athletes per gender, based on the sum of points from the Shanghai and Budapest events. Fighting for the Women’s Boulder & Lead quota are Kyra Condie, Kylie Cullen, Brooke Raboutou, and Annie Sanders from the USA. Fighting for the Men’s Speed quote are Noah Bratschi, John Brosler, and Zach Hammer from the USA. It all starts with Boulder Qualification on Thursday, May 16 (streaming on the night of May 15 in the United States), but will continue through Sunday, May 19.
