USA Climbing Seeks To Fill DEI Committee Positions

At USA Climbing, our mission is to support the well-being, development, and competitive excellence of our athletes as we advance the accessibility and growth of the climbing community nationwide. To accomplish these goals, the organization has the tremendous benefit of drawing on the experience and guidance offered by the members of the USA Climbing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee.

USA Climbing’s DEI Committee provides research, recommendations, and policy guidance for the organization. Through their collaborative efforts, as well as their diverse backgrounds, experiences and involvement in the sport, the committee seeks to provide sound guidance for the organization in the areas of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Currently, we are searching for five (5) DEI Committee members who have a passion for DEI work. Additional experience with nonprofit management, equity in sports, human resources, routesetting, gym management, or coaching is preferred. Terms for these initial appointments conclude on December 31, 2026 per USA Climbing Bylaws with potential to renew for a second four (4)-year term. The DEI committee meets once per month with an average of 4-5 hours of monthly volunteer committee work.

If you are interested in being considered as a volunteer for one of these DEI Committee roles, please send a Letter of Interest (LOI) via email along with your resume to:
