A Week of Climbing Wraps Up At The 2023 Youth National Championships

An exciting week of climbing wrapped up with Boulder Finals on Sunday evening at the Youth National Championships in Salt Lake City, Utah. The boulder portion of the event not only crowned eight new national champions across the four participating youth categories, but it also established the eighteen Youth Boulder National Team Members for 2023 who will have an opportunity to participate at the IFSC Youth World Championships next month in Seoul, South Korea.

Not only was this year’s event the largest Youth Nationals event in USA Climbing history, but it is also the first time the entire Boulder portion of the event has been held at the USA Climbing National Training Center. Because of this, athletes had the opportunity to compete on the same EP Climbing walls used for the Salt Lake City Boulder World Cup and North American Cup Series event in Vail, CO.

If you missed any of the Boulder action at this year’s Youth Nationals, you can tune into the livestream replays on the USA Climbing YouTube channel!
