Grossman Wins Gold and Silver at World Championships

The 2021 IFSC World Championships for Bouldering, Lead and Speed concluded Tuesday in Moscow. Natalia Grossman of Team USA continued her amazing season and finished with two medals, winning the Bouldering competition and taking second in Lead.

Team USA had success across Bouldering, Lead and Speed. Noah Bratschi earned Bronze in Speed with a time of 6.31; and together with Grossman put Team USA at the top of the medal table with three medals. Brooke Raboutou had a very strong showing, placing fifth in Bouldering and Lead. Full event results can be found here.

With the cancellation of the remaining World Cup events in Asia, the 2021 IFSC season will conclude with the Paraclimbing World Cup in Los Angeles, October 9-10. U.S. athletes will now shift their focus to the premier domestic event of the season, the 2021 YETI Climbing National Championships, November 13-17.
