Level 1 Clinic Scheduled at BKB Queensbridge August 6/7 2021

We have scheduled the next Level 1 Routesetting Clinic in New York City to be held at BKB Queensbridge.  The clinic will be August 6th and 7th, 2021 and the Chief Instructor will be Nic Oklobzija (blocstrategies@gmail.com)

Registration for this clinic is done through Sport80, the same online platform that competitions, coaching registration etc is done. Qualified Routesetters must register for this clinic and it is on a first come first served basis.

Participants should have at least 6 months routesetting experience and need to be proficient in using all the tools and equipment necessary to set boulder problems and routes.  Proficiency at moving up and down a fixed rope to set routes is a must.  Any questions about this can be directed to the Routesetting Program Manager, Mike Bockino at mike@usaclimbing.org

Participants must also have a current Routesetter Membership to register for the clinic.  The clinic is limited to 20 total participants.

Level 1 Clinic Scheduled at On the Edge August 25/26 2021

We have scheduled the next Level 1 Routesetting Clinic in Melbourne FL to be held at On the Edge Rock Gym.  The clinic will be August 25th and 26th, 2021 and the Chief Instructor is TBD.

We have scheduled the next Level 1 Routesetting Clinic in St George Utah to be held at Contact Climbing and Fitness.  The clinic will be August 27th and 28th, 2021 and the Chief Instructor will be Molly Beard (molly@brimstoneboulders.com)

We have scheduled the next Level 2 Clinic in  to be held at Inspire Rock in . The Clinic will be held August 17/18/19 2021 and the Chief Instructor will be Nic Oklobzija.

Please note – application for Level 2 Clinics is competitive and the strongest candidates will be those that have the best combination of the following factors for consideration:  Experience routesetting at Championship Level events, significant Chief Routesetter experience at competitions/gyms, strong references, and those who represent strong USA Climbing partner gyms/regions.  We will consider all applications as they are submitted and encourage those to apply who have depth of experience and qualifications.
