Youth Divisional Championships Registration Deadline and Youth Festival Application

Hello Coaches,

Youth Divisional Championships This Weekend

Reminder that coach registration deadlines will be required for all championship events to support USOPC requirements for SafeSport compliance.

  • Registration Deadline: Friday, 5/1/2026 at 12pm/noon

Youth Festival Coach Application

The coach application for the Youth Festival is now open. The Youth Festival is not a traditional camp. It is a collaborative experience where coaches from across the country come together to mentor athletes, share ideas, and learn from one another. The focus is on growth, connection, and creating a positive environment for athletes to develop both on and off the wall. Coaches play a key role in shaping that experience.

We are looking for:

  • 4 Assistant Coaches (3 days)
  • 4 Apprentices (3 days)
  • 2 Interns (3 days)

All positions are paid. Coach applications will close on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

Upcoming Event Registration Reminders

Reminder that coach registration for Youth Divisional Championships have 2 different registration periods. Please review the coach registration deadlines on https://usaclimbing.org/community/coaches/#championship.

April Youth Divisional Championships

  • Registration Opens: Monday, 3/30/26 at 12pm/noon
  • Team Roster Deadline: Saturday, 4/4/26 at 12pm/noon
  • Document Submission Deadline: Wednesday, 4/8/26 at 12pm/noon*
  • Registration Deadline: Friday, 4/10/2026 at 12pm/noon

*This will give staff time to resolve issues before coach registration closes. Additionally, please be aware that background screenings can take up to 10 business days to process.

Youth Team Rosters

USAC continues to collect information via this form for a second email distribution providing team roster access scheduled on Feb. 25th for submissions received between Jan. 5th and Feb. 22, at 12am MT.

Para Coaches Solicitation of Interest Form

As the 2026 World Climbing series approaches, we would like to source interest from the United States coaching body for individuals who could benefit the Para Climbing team by participating at training events and Para climbing series events throughout the season. We are seeking Intern and Apprentice level coaches who are eager to learn, as well as Assistant Coaches with more experience.

Generally, applicants will only be considered if they have past experience coaching with the US Team (youth, para, or otherwise), currently coach a top ten nationally ranked athlete of any discipline, or can demonstrate other Elite level competition knowledge/experience.
