Regional and Divisional Internships
There will be regional and divisional internships offered at all regionals with an approved L4 or L5 Chief Routesetter. Internships are unpaid but USA Climbing encourages the host facility to provide housing for their intern.
To gain L3 certification a routesetter must complete 2 successful internships, one outside of their division and one can be in their home division or region. Once the 2nd internship has been completed and the chief routesetters have provided positive recommendations the routesetter would then have gained their L3 certification.
To apply for internships please use the following link: https://forms.gle/mWvpg8psta5v8sfL7
Deadline to apply: March 15 2023 by end of day
With any general questions about the events or application process, email the Administrator of the Routesetting program, Mike Bockino at routesetting@usaclimbing.org
